These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the JulyPay, including all services related to payments, collections, and withdrawals.
By creating an account or using JulyPay, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use JulyPay.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. KYC (Know Your Customer)
- All users are required to complete KYC verification.
- You agree to provide valid and up-to-date identification documents when requested.
- Failure to complete KYC may result in restricted or suspended services.
5. Use of Services
You agree to use JulyPay only for lawful purposes (ISP subsciption collections). You must not:
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Use the platform for money laundering or unauthorized transactions
- Interfere with the security or performance of the platform
6. Transactions
- JulyPay enables collections, payments, and withdrawals.
- All transactions are subject to verification and approval.
- We reserve the right to delay, reject, or reverse transactions where necessary.
7. Fees
- Applicable fees for services are clearly indicated on our official website.
- By using JulyPay, you agree to pay all applicable charges.
8. Service Availability
- We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
9. Third-Party Payment Processing and Compliance
JulyPay follows regulations set by the Bank of Uganda and does not directly hold or process customer funds. All payments are handled by a licensed third-party provider, currently eTranzact Platform Limited(Main) and RelWorx during eTransact downtimes.
By using JulyPay:
- Your transactions are managed under the rules of the third-party provider.
- JulyPay only provides the platform to initiate and track payments.
Our services depend on the availability of these provider. If their services are interrupted or restricted (including by regulators), JulyPay may also be affected.
While JulyPay is not responsible for payment processing issues caused by the third-party provider, we are committed to being transparent, working with regulators, and keeping you informed.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You fail to complete KYC requirements
- We suspect fraudulent or suspicious activity
11. Security
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- JulyPay is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your negligence.
12. Limitation of Liability
JulyPay is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Delays or failures caused by third-party services
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. You will always be notified when terms are updated. Continued use of JulyPay means you accept the updated Terms.
